Flossugar

Flossugar is a ready to use product made from a special sugar, not too fine, not too coarse that contains the right color concentrations - just open the box and pour into the spinner head. No messy mixing or unsanitary sugar buckets. Flossugar is packaged in sealed 3-1/4 lb. cartons. Inventory is easy and accurate. Mixed flavors cases are not available. Pink Vanilla, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, Cherry, Green Apple and Orange are some of our most popular Flossugar flavors.

Due to the size and weight of this item - freight charges can cost more than the item itself. For a lower cost alternative we recommend purchasing Flossine which will cost less to ship and is available in individual flavors - case quantities do not need to be purchased.

Flossine

Flossine has been a favorite of cotton candy operators since it was introduced by Gold Medal in 1948. Flossine is for the professional midway operator who has the time prepare the sugar. Simply adds about one to two heaping tablespoons of Flossine to every 10 lbs. of regular granulated sugar, mix thoroughly and it's ready to use.

Using Flossine can reduce product cost approximately 30-40% per serving. Now available in rust-proof, sanitary re-useable jars. Available in individual jars and case quantities of 12 jars.

Flossine will not clog up the ribbon heating elements. However, be careful of the sugar you mix with - some contains corn starch which can clog the ribbons. One can of Flossine will yield approximately 2000, 1oz servings. Blue Raspberry, Vanilla Pink, Strawberry Pink, Cherry Red, Pina Colada and Bubble Gum are some of our most popular Flossine flavors.

TIP - It is always important to make Pink Vanilla flavor cotton candy - that is the "cotton candy" aroma and color that people associate with cotton candy.

Cotton Candy Bags

Be sure to sell cotton candy in bags! Take home sales could possibly double your business. The smart concession operators sell floss in both Jumbo and Quick Pak floss bags. Many operators build supplemental business with the heat sealed Cello bags - and it is amazing how much cotton candy is being sold in heat sealed bags. The product will stay fresher for a lot longer than the one-mil poly.

Clown and ferris wheel pre-printed graphics are available for a small premium. UPC and ingredient statement is also printed on our cotton candy bags with pre-printed graphics. Clown print cotton candy bag shown on right.

To help simplify filling bags with cotton candy, use our handy floss bag blower. The blower sheets air down along the front lip of the bags (on the header) and by the time you have made another serving the next bag is opened for you.

For those who do not heat seal their floss bags, use the inexpensive and very popular Kwik-Lok bag closures - the Kwik-Loks have a hole in them so you can hang them on your display rack for increased visability.

Candee Fluff Containers

Candee Fluff is the latest innovation in the Cotton Candy world. Candee Fluff Cotton Candy Containers keep product fresh for weeks! This allows you to make product ahead of time to prepare for busy crowds and store labor. The containers have a tightly fitting lid to keep air out. The clear container and attractive graphics make Candee Fluff a perfect merchandiser for top sales. Available in 1/2 oz. and 1 oz. sizes.

The cost of the Candee Fluff cup compared to the bag can be easily offset. You can make about three times as many cups as you can bags in the same amount of time. About 1/3 of the product is used for the cup as opposed to the bag. There is virtually no waste. And labor costs are lower since you can make more cups in the same amount of time.

Additionally we have cardboard display systems for the Candee Fluff containers. These inexpensive display systems ship flat, are very easy to assemble and can be purchased in as a counter model or floor model. The small counter top merchandiser displays 24 small candee fluff containers. The three-tiered floor merchandiser creates a tempting display! Holds 72 small containers (or 36 large containers).

Cotton Candy Floss Cones

Gold Medal Cotton Candy Cones are the strongest available. Made from tough southern kraft paper, each floss cone is triple wrapped to ensure strength. Plain, pre-printed stripped or clown designs are available. Sold in 1,000 or 4,000 case quantities.
